Aurexum uses cookies for three purposes: to ensure the Service operates correctly (essential/functional cookies), to remember your preferences (preference cookies), and to understand how visitors use the Service (analytical cookies). We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
When you first visit Aurexum, a consent banner is displayed. Analytical cookies are only activated if you select “Accept All.” Essential and preference cookies are always active as they are required for the Service to function. You can change your preference at any time using the button in Section 6 below.
3. Essential & Functional Cookies
These cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function or to remember preferences you have actively set. They do not require your consent as they are necessary to deliver the service you have requested.

4. Analytical Cookies
Analytical cookies help us understand how visitors interact with Aurexum. The data collected is aggregated and anonymised — it is not used to identify individual users. This information helps us improve the platform, prioritise features, and diagnose performance issues.
These cookies are only set if you select “Accept All” in the consent banner. If you choose “Essential Only,” Google Analytics scripts are never loaded and no analytical cookies are placed.

Google Analytics data is processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. IP addresses are anonymised before transmission to Google's servers.
5. Browser Local & Session Storage
In addition to cookies, Aurexum uses localStorage and sessionStorage — browser storage mechanisms that work similarly to cookies but are not transmitted to our servers with every request. They are stored only in your browser.

You can clear localStorage and sessionStorage for this site at any time through your browser's developer tools or privacy settings. Clearing localStorage will reset your Fragrance Finder profile.
6. Managing & Disabling Cookies
You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View cookies stored on your device and delete them individually or in bulk.
- Block all cookies or only third-party cookies.
- Set preferences for specific websites.
Please note that disabling essential cookies will impair the functionality of the Service, including your ability to log in and maintain your session. Disabling analytical cookies will not affect your ability to use the Service.
To specifically opt out of Google Analytics tracking, you may use the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.
You can reset your cookie consent preference on this site at any time using the button below. This will clear your saved choice and display the consent banner again on your next page load, allowing you to make a new selection.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies or storage technologies we use, or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last reviewed” date at the top of this page.
