1881 Silver Night wears its jasmine openly from the start — a heady white bloom at dusk. Underneath the opening, vetiver deepens into a rooty smoke with tropical dust, and rosemary answers as herb smoke drifting from roast pans. Around the edges, yuzu moves through as thick yellow skin giving off sharp perfume, while oak drifts alongside as a solid wood note with brown depth. What stays is damp and mineral: an earthy, woody core edged with aromatic herbs and citrus.
