Black Gold begins where amber does, a slow molten glow of labdanum drawing you in. Beneath it, patchouli settles as damp leaves warming over roots, while rose drifts toward petal richness lit by morning gold. Toward the top, vetiver reads as a rooty smoke with tropical dust and lavender as the clean purple lift of fresh sprigs. In the end it is damp and mineral, an earthy, resinous centre brightened by aromatic herbs and white florals.
