At the core, bergamot reads as the polished snap of Calabrian peel, patchouli drifting in as cool forest loam under crushed herbs. Around the edges, vetiver moves through as green bitterness under sunburnt earth, while lemon drifts alongside as sunny rind under a sharp blade.
