Bengal Oud begins where cedarwood does, clean timber in monastery shade drawing you in. Below the surface, iris turns to petal coolness with cosmetic grain and leather answers as the clean bitterness of tanned hide. Toward the top, oud reads as smoke and resin in lacquered darkness and bitter orange as golden peel carrying a medicinal tang. Worn, it reads dry and grounded — a woody, leathery centre brightened by citrus and a powdery veil.
