Emiro begins where ylang-ylang does, the slow richness of yellow flowers drawing you in. Below the surface, geranium turns to a brisk floral leaf rubbed warm and leather answers as smooth grain rubbed with wax. Toward the top, oud reads as smoke and resin in lacquered darkness and bergamot as the dry sparkle of cologne citrus.
