Cuir Impertinent starts quietly, amber unfolding as a slow molten glow of labdanum. Beneath it, leather settles as the clean bitterness of tanned hide, while star anise drifts toward the lacquered sweetness of broken stars. Higher up, tobacco leaf threads sun-cured leaves with bitter veins over the blend. In the end it is dark and supple, a leathery, resinous core brightened by warm spice and aromatic herbs.
