Vintage Flower begins where yuzu does, a tart Japanese citrus with floral bitterness drawing you in. Underneath the opening, pomegranate deepens into the vivid pop of tart seed sacs, and musk answers as soft laundry air with skin salt. Around the edges, amber moves through as sweet balsam deepening on skin, while peony drifts alongside as soft pink blossoms in a cold vase. In the end it is warm and balsamic, a resinous, musky core brightened by citrus and white florals — silk petals glossed with peel oil.
